Adele has stolen headlines again this week as she took to Instagram to announce her impending performance at this year’s Brit Awards.

The ‘Easy On Me’ singer used this opportunity to hit back at split rumours between her and boyfriend, US sports agent Rich Paul, adding ‘Oh, and Rich sends his love.’

The 33-year-old makes the admission following reports she was set to perform at the British award show, but had pulled out.

In the statement released on Monday, the star exclaimed her excitement ahead of the big event. Alongside a blurred image of the songstress smiling, she wrote; ‘I’m really happy to say that I am performing at the Brits next week!!’

In a double whammy, the ‘Someone Like You’ singer also announced she’d be joining acclaimed late night talk show host Graham Norton ‘for a chat on the couch.’

In classic Adele fashion, the best-selling recording artist also took the opportunity to address rumours of a split with current boyfriend Rich Paul.

This announcement comes just two weeks after the star postponed her Las Vegas residency on short notice, devastating fans who had already purchased tickets.

Her run of shows at the iconic Caesars Palace venue was due to begin on the 21st of January and continue through until the 16th of April.

Adele once again took to social media to announce the news, in a tearful address to fans, she admitted the show was not yet ready, having been ‘absolutely destroyed’ by delivery delays and coronavirus.

Adele is no stranger to the Brit Awards herself, having won nine Brits since her debut, including the prize for rising star back in 2008.

The starlet won Best British Album in both 2016 and 2012 as well as winning Best British Female Solo Artist those same years. She has also won the acclaimed Global Success Award not once, but twice.

The queen of ballads has performed live at the event multiple times over her career. This year’s Brit Awards are set to take place on Tuesday the 8th of February and will be hosted by British comedian Mo Gilligan.
